On August 14, 2013, the United States Department of
Agriculture and the Rural Housing Service published a notice of funding
availability for farm labor housing loans and grants for off-farm housing. The
notice announces the timeframe for submission of pre-applications for Section
514 Farm Labor Housing (FLH) loans and Section 516 FLH grants for construction
of off-farm housing for domestic farm laborers. The deadline for receipt of applications
is 5:00pm local time, September 13, 2013, to the appropriate Rural Development
State Office.
